Overgrown headge and ground plants

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7999038.

This hedge is always overgrown taking up half of the footpath. It is full of brambles which hang over and across the foot path. There is also vegetation growing from the bottom of the hedge which is taking over the footpath

  • Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.
