Speed bumps needed to improve safety.

Reported via mobile anonymously at 07:56, Fri 8 August 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7995988.

The current speed-activated sign in the village is proving ineffective, as vehicles are already travelling at excessive speeds by the time they enter the village. With Banbury Road closed for several years due to HS2 works, this presents an ideal opportunity to implement additional traffic-calming measures. Installing speed bumps at the village entrance would significantly slow vehicles before arrival, improving safety for residents. The cost is relatively low, and the potential to prevent serious accidents—or even save lives—makes it a worthwhile investment.
