Illegal tree felling?

Reported via desktop in the Fallen tree category anonymously at 11:05, Thu 7 August 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7991990.

I have been trying to get reasons ... .why has bcc cut down a healthy mature oak tree?. .why was there no prior felling notice erected for the public?. . why didn't bcc wait until the bird breeding season was over before felling, there were fledgling crows using it.The parents still fed their fledglings on the piled up wood afterward, that is just cruel and bcc should feel ashamed for cruelty. .if the tree was diseased, why was there no public notice on it stating so?. .if it was diseased why hasn't the wood been removed to date (public health hazard). .if it is diseased why is there 0 public safety hazard notice on it?.
