Trees overhanging road and causing damage to buses on diversion
Reported via iOS in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 22:22, Wed 6 August 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7990025.
There are 5 trees on the corner of Kestrel Crescent and Merlin Road. They overhang the road and are being hit by the buses - they need cutting back. This has been previously reported but apparently your investigator could not find the problem which I struggle to understand. You can actually see the damage on the overhanging branches. If you enter Merlin Rd from Knight’s Rd, go past Kestrel Crescent and there is a grass area that had 5 large trees growing. Merlin Rd isn’t actually that long so they obviously did not investigate very well!
