Dangerous ridge across road.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7989980.

Already reported this. This hasn’t been fixed. Your response of - This report has been closed. However all defects in this location that meet intervention level have been raised for repair as part of this roads monthly driven inspection, and will be attended to as soon as possible. - nonsense and unacceptable. We all pay for our roads to be safe. This is unsafe and will result in a serious accident and many claims for damage to vehicles against the council. When your team checks this, they need to drive over it and not just look at it. The massive pothole after this needs fixing as well. What is the problem with you actually fixing this?!?

  • Not possible to take a photograph and not a safe place to be able to. You can’t miss it. It’s been marked (by the council we assume) with a cone. The pot hole just after has already been marked with white spray paint. Both of which appeared months ago. It is Just before the turn right for Cherry acres commercial centre - OX25 1QN - when you are headed towards Aylesbury. You’ll feel it if you drive over it! Your update on another persons post of this same issue stated - After a thorough investigation and risk assessment, we have determined that the issue warrants attention within 28 days. - so not sure why you are now asking for a photo?
