The rain water down pipes on left and right of 7 High St should flow into drains across the pavement and then into the drain running down the high street

Reported via mobile in the Damaged Gully or Catchpit Ironwork category anonymously at 18:38, Wed 6 August 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7989370.

Each of the drains from the buildings and running down the high street are missing metal grills and where there are missing they have been filled with tarmac. As a result the drains are blocked and do not work properly particularly in heavy rain. I don’t know when these were blocked but probably months or maybe years ago
