Damaged/moved way markers sign post away from the stile

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7984343.

It appears that work carried out to the entrance of the field to the east of St John's Road resulted in the damage and subsequent repositioning of the post carrying the way markers for the two foot paths crossing the highway. The sign that should be pointing to the West now points to the South. Also the posistioning of post made it a steadying aid for those using the stile. The post has been moved beyound the reach of anyone on the stile. This has made the stile rather dangerous.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
