Very deep pothole on the edge of carriageway
Reported via iOS in the Potholes category anonymously at 13:21, Monday 4 August 2025
Sent to Milton Keynes Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7976726.
Forced to take the left side of carriageway at 25mph by oncoming 4x4 travelling at speed. Unfortunately the edge of the carriageway along this stretch of the road is deeply eroded and the tarmac edge very irregular. My week obviously hit one of these holes and it blew the tyre hopefully the rim hadn’t been damaged. The car is now off the road waiting for a new tyre!

I was forced off the carriageway by a car going too fast opposite the Golf Club and ripped a tyre on the edge of the carriageway where the tarmac has broken away and the substrate eroded by surface water to a significant depth. The cost £212 and half a day of inconvenience.

The deep gulley where the road has broken away cost me over £212. I was promised action by our Labour Ward Councillor but the gulleys are probably worse. Repeatedly drivers dashing to Woburn Golf club in oversized 4x4s drive too fast and have no regard for other road users.
