Broken Drain Cover, Making noise when vehicles go over

Resident has reported concern of a loud clanking noise when cars go over the drain outside 36 Hyde Road. On checks resident has checked cover and base on top are not fitting properly as base is not level. Noise from drain is audible in the house. Please request to investigate drain, thank you

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
