Road is dipping

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7972783.

The road on both sides is dipping, either because of dry ground, tree roots, poorly built. It has now got so severe that my car bottoms out at legal speeds. It won’t be long before someone loses it and crashes on the bend. A sign is already in place for a bumpy road ahead but I shouldn’t think it would pass a safety requirement now. Needs attention

  • This is now a severe hazard causing my car to bottom out unless travelling less than 30 mph on a national speed limit road - posing considerable threat from other road users whilst I do so.

    This road appears to have succumbed to the degradation very quickly and seems to be continuing to do so. Those travelling towards Carterton then have to negotiate a difficult corner with the cars stability having been significantly affected by this issue. Further, this is exacerbated by the road historically being negotiated at speed and the corner routinely being poorly negotiated by motorists.
