A Bunch of assholes making a lot of noise.

It’s almost midnight again, which can only mean one thing — another loud, shouty singalong from 4 Hawkshaw Close, SW2 4QT. This has become something of a Saturday/Sunday tradition, with what we assume are enthusiastic (if not tuneful) renditions of songs in Portuguese. Unfortunately, these performances seem better suited to a festival than a quiet residential street.

We understand that people like to enjoy themselves, but perhaps there’s a way to celebrate that doesn’t involve shouting songs at full volume while the rest of us are trying to sleep. It’s impressive how consistent they are — week after week, without fail — but this level of noise at nearly midnight is completely unacceptable in a residential area.

It would be great if someone could kindly remind the occupants that London homes aren’t soundproofed concert halls, and some of us would rather not have front-row seats every weekend.
