Unclear road markings

Reported via desktop in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 09:50, Friday 1 August 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7964040.

I was involved in an RTA on the segensworth roundabout where a third party was in the incorrect lane and drove into the side of my vehicle causing a lot of damage. On travelling down the road today i noticed that both the road sign and road markings are very worn on the road and also hidden by trees also. I can understand why the elderly man was confused as to what lane he should have been in.

  • This problem was reported following an RTA involving myself. It's a shame that the council have not contacted me or acted on the issue leaving the problem to remain open to more accidents and injuries.

  • There have been more near miss RTA's at this location. the trees are worse than ever and the road markings are all but invisible. Someone will get hurt at this roundabout and I will be digging up these reports from four months ago warning of it.
