Street light T90 is blocked by branches of nearby tree.
Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category by Paul Fitzsimmons at 17:18, Wed 30 July 2025
Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7956150.
Branches of a nearby tree block the street light T90. At night or on dark mornings, there is no light when reversing off driveways of the adjacent properties. I reported this last winter and was told that due to a high demand for tree surgeons, it could not be done for several weeks. I have since reported it via the Liverpool City Council website and have received no acknowledgement or phone call.

It will be 12 months in November when this was first reported; the service is diabolical, it is now dark of a morning and reversing off my drive is a hazard due to the streetlight being blocked.

I have rung LCC again they do not give you a reference number,it is almost 12 months since my original request. My council are dysfunctional and neglect Castletown Close and I have evidence to prove it. This is a safety issue that they are choosing to ignore.

This incident was first reported over 13 months ago. I have since contacted LCC again, you are never given a reference or incident number. I will be writing to my MP the level of service the residents receive from LCC is dire.

It has still not been fixed; it was first reported over 1 year ago. When I get the opportunity, I will contact my local MP.
