Pothole on speedbump on pedestrian crossing

Damaged speed bump on a pedestrian crossing. There’s a pothole just before the bump, causing drivers to slow more than necessary or drift toward the opposite lane to avoid it. This poses a safety risk for both drivers and pedestrians.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.
