Several Deep Potholes

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:13, Wed 30 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7953634.

There's a series of 3/4 pot holes on the approach to the interchange. These have been festering for months. They were tagged by the Council in White for repair within 28 days. That time has elapsed and they are still not repaired. Why has the council failed to repair them? They're a menace.

There's also the same issue on the opposing carriage way as you leave the interchange. The road surface has failed entirely and is breaking up. This has been a problem for months. Nothing has been done. Why?

  • The potholes at the Milton interchange with the A34, SW side and on the A4130 remain. There are multiple potholes both on the roundabout before driving on A4130 towards Steventon and Milton Heights. Some are deep. Additionally the road surface is deteriorating on the same road and I would ask that the whole road surface is dug up and replaced. Please make this a priority.

  • Once again I am reporting the deteriorating road surface and potholes on the SW side of the roundabout at the Milton Interchange and the A4130 heading towards Steventon and Milton Heights. There are multiple potholes, some quite large and deep, and close together which makes driving over this surface unpleasant. There are also potholes approaching the Milton Interchange and there is also a pothole getting ever deeper on the NW side of the roundabout just as vehicles drive around the corner from the A4130 and onto the slip road for the A34. Patching potholes just doesn't cut it - the whole surface needs digging up and re-laying. The overall road surface on the A4130 heading both towards the Steventon junction from the Milton Interchange and also approaching the Milton interchange from the Steventon junction is degrading. This also needs an entire replacement.

I, and my fellow drivers, would be very appreciative of your urgent attention to these issues - these potholes and the road surface have been reported multiple times and it is disappointing that nothing has been done to date. If it would help, I would be happy to meet with the road repair team to point out the areas that I am trying to describe?
