Road Damage and Water Pooling Hazard on Brindley Street

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category by Davod Mozafari at 00:03, Wed 30 July 2025

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7952063.

As seen in the attached photo, there are multiple large, rectangular holes in the middle of the road where the asphalt has completely eroded. The underlying structure is now exposed, with sharp and uneven concrete and loose gravel creating a significant safety hazard for both vehicles and pedestrians.

The situation becomes considerably worse during rainfall. Water collects and pools in this sunken area due to improper drainage, making it nearly impossible for pedestrians to cross without stepping into a deep puddle. This is particularly dangerous for children, the elderly, and those with mobility challenges.
