Hedge along Blackbird Leys Rd is now even more overgrown due to lack of response by County Council

Reported via mobile in the Hedges category by Councillor Simon Ottino Northfield Brook Ward at 23:18, Tue 29 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7952028.

Hedge on Blackbird Leys Rd is even more overgrowing the footpath causing pedestrians to have to walk in the cycle lane. This was reported a week ago and no action has been taken. So much for a County Council promoting Active Travel including walking, when their own inaction stops pedestrians from using the pavement safely. This hedge needs to be cut back immediately to make it safe for pedestrians including those getting of the bus at the nearby stop.
