Overgrowth of the pavement by a hedge. Two green boxes half hidden within the hedge.

This is a longterm problem of a large hedge growing out into the pavement. It is not sufficient to just trim the hedge back as has been done in the past; it needs to be cut right back. The arisings need to be taken away, not thrown back into the hedge where they just exacerbate the problem. The problem of the hedge growing out into the pavement is not limited to these two boxes - it stretches about 50m along Cumnor Road to the start of Ox Container Storage's premises. There are further problem patches of vegetation overgrowing into the pavement all the way to the mini roundabout.
