Double yellow lines that need repainting

There are double yellow lines on each side of a ten foot, been there for years and never been repainted. Hence we constantly get cars parked every night, weekend on these lines thus causing an obstruction on leaving the ten foot or entering the ten foot. Parking enforcement have been round and seen cars parked on these faded lines, though you can see them clearly, but don’t give the cars a ticket….needless to say it will continue. So we are saying why havnt these lines been repainted, if we can see them why can’t the cars parked there get a ticket. This has been an ongoing issue for many years, but no one ever does anything to stop it.
