  • There is a white line which indicates the cycle track i’m assuming. Usually you’d see a solid white line to mark the edge of the road. On this side of the road, the line is set back on the path, so there is no clear edge when driving at night. It makes it particularly dangerous for pedestrians as the cars come very close not realising the edge of the path is closer. It creates an optical illusion and should have a line on the road to show the edge of the road. Also this stretch needs to have lights from Horspath up to the Oxford United pitch. It’s extremely dangerous with such poor visibility when it’s dark. The road is close to the cycle track and is very hard to cycle along on dark nights.
