Dead pet dog

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7945311.

This morning around 7:30/7:40am cars were swerving to avoid (myslef included) a dead pet dog in the middle lane of the motorway just after junction 43. It was a fairlly small white dog layed flat on its side with a blue/black harness covering its chest. I've not been able to find other reports of this today but I imagine by this time it will have been picked up. I'm not sure what state the animal would be in and wanted to offer some form of description for any owners locally who may have a lost a pet. However, with the location being close to the bridge I feel its more likely the dog had fallen out of a vehicle.
