The path is overgrown and hedges push humans out into the road
Reported via desktop in the Causing obstruction to pavement/road category anonymously at 16:39, Mon 28 July 2025
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7944750.
Running all along the A38 from roundabout near Twyning all the way into Tewkesbury. Its impossible to walk safely on the path. Leaving the hedges and grass verges overgrown like this is a danger to humans and car drivers as walkers are forced into the road. This is not helping the bees, butterflies and insects as everything has gone to seed. You hardly ever see any wildlife on these verges. One can't help thinking it is just a cost saving excuse to leave it. Well it gives a very bad first impression on entrance to Tewkesbury as it looks a complete overgrown mess! Malvern District Council keep all paths open, cut back and hedges trimmed back leaving a taller row of grass right at the edge towards the hedge away from the path and roads. It is safer, paths can be used and wildlife flutter about along the hedge line. Why can't you do this ?
