Extensive disrepair to long section of pavement

The pavements along the northern side of High Street are now in a serious state of disrepair. My elderly father who lives in Downington can no longer travel along the pavement safely in his mobility scooter to the shops and church. We are aware of one lady who has fallen and a gentleman thrown from his mobility scooter in recent times. The worst affected section is to front of the fish and chip shop along to the Christmas shop and Lodersfield. I have attached a selection of photos which show some of the affected areas to give you feel for the extent of the problem. It needs to be completely resurfaced as a matter of urgency before someone is seriously injured. I look forward to hearing from you that the works will be undertaken as a priority to allow elderly and those with disabilities to use this pavement safely again.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
