I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding a group of caravans that have been stationed for over a month near the BMX park and children's playground. Postcode bs110ey
The occupants appear to be living there long-term and have been consistently dumping household waste directly into the surrounding green area. The woodland is now heavily littered with rubbish, and a strong, unpleasant odour—resembling that of a public toilet—is present, suggesting that portable toilets are being emptied directly onto the field.
This situation poses not only a health and environmental risk but is also deeply concerning for local residents and children who use the nearby playground and park. The smell, the visible pollution, and the general unsanitary conditions are unacceptable and distressing.
I urge the council to investigate this matter as soon as possible and take appropriate action to ensure the site is cleared, cleaned, and properly monitored to prevent further environmental damage and health hazards. Thank you
