Non resident/visitor parking on most of this road

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7922916.

There are two garage mechanic businesses along this road. They accept vehicles to repair or also buy at auction to repair and sell on. The problem is they dump on Wortley Road, some can be there weeks and months with nothing happening to them. One Luton type van has been there most of this year. My mother in law lives in Montague Court and it's impossible to park on Wortley Road when visiting her. Their car park isn't large and mostly used by residents. This has gone on since 2023, I emailed local MP Rachel Reeves twice but had jo replies. Can you help put pressure on the council please.

  • Cars and vans are still filling ip the road all the time, you can tell yhem from the damage clearly visible or just a flat tyre but they can be there for days. These are in no way residents vehicles.

  • Cars are still parked there for days on end, there's another large Luton style van which has not moved for about a month. Nowhere to park when we visit my Mother in law.
