Gravel washing down road has blocked ditch.

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7921838.
Gravel being washed down the road has gone into drain and then discharged to our ditch. This has backed up and now blocked culvert under bridge. Leading to flooding of garden.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.

Very nice team attended the site. The problem isn’t the drain that they sucked clean. It’s gravel washing down from the drain further up road that runs into the culvert. Culvert needs cleaning so water can run away down field side ditch. And thus prevent flooding of garden.
