Double yellow lines too short and are now creating blind spots when motorists.

Now that the industrial estate is a drop off/parking area for coaches, the coaches are using every bit of space that doesn’t have double yellows. Unfortunately this means the space outside Parlane that is behind the double yellows before the roundabout, is also being used as a parking space by coaches. From either direction this is creating blind spots, but particularly if you’re heading towards the direction of the roundabout with Parlane on your left. It is incredibly dangerous being so close to the roundabout. I have witnessed near misses and only last week I had a car coming at me at speed because they couldn’t see around the coach. Luckily I approach this area with caution as I use the road daily, and I braked in plenty of time but not everyone will slow down and I can see there being several accidents. You have to creep round the coaches very slowly and hope that nothing comes round the corner too quickly. Can the double yellows be extended please, so that there is no space to park up outside Parlane?

If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
