Investigating
Colapsed drain found last year during flooding but not yet fixed. Needs fixing before next heavy rainfall ans it causes house flooding in cotswold gardens.

Near height barrier in station road to the carpark behind morrisons. Discovered during last flooding and we were told road would need to be closed off due to depth of drain but this has never been done and the residents don't want their properties to flood again due to an incomplete issue.

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
