Children's swing, roundabout and see saw needs fixing

Hi - the kids roundabout ride in the Harvington sports ground has been jammed for over a year, seems like over the years dead leaves have gone in and blocked the ride, can you please get it checked and fixed. Also the swing needs greasing as it hardly moves, and the see saw after the repairs is soo hard that it doesn’t work as see saw at all and it’s just stuck in one position. It’s a lovely park and play area but just needs some repairs so the community can enjoy it! Please action ASAP.

  • Thank you for your continued patience. The play specialist attended site dismantled and investigated the roundabout, was oiled and spinning. However, upon more recent investigations, the bearing for the roundabout has now gone and needs to be replaced. We have raised this order with the supplier and will update you as soon as we have a delivery date. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.

The play specialist attended site, oiled the swings and see saw including dismantling and investigating the roundabout which appeared to be spinning upon leaving. However, upon more recent investigations, the bearing for the roundabout has now gone and needs to be replaced. We have raised this order with the supplier and will update you as soon as we have a delivery date. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.
