People who work at hospital parking on pavements and blocking risd
Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 05:41, Sun 20 July 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7903827.
There has been a large increase in people parking their cars in garston lane. Partly due to residents only parking further down. Also many working g at the hospital. The parking is unsafe often on pavements, opposite junctions or on corners. Also quite often in the restricted parking sections. Much of the time I can only squeeze past in my average width car so they are blocking the road for larger vehicles. Please paint and enforce appropriate double yellow lines

It has become much worse recently and we really need yellow lines / residents parking along garston lane - not that any drivers will take any notice. It seems anything goes with the hospital visitors. There is free parking in town which is less than 5 minutes walk.
