Pathway is getting blocked by over grown hedge.

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 19:10, Sat 19 July 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7903248.

The pathway is getting blocked by over grown hedge. Please can it be cut back right to the fence? I use this road twice a day and it is getting frustrating. Thanks 🙏

  • Hi, thanks, the hedge got trimmed slightly so it is a bit easier to pass but I'm still confused as to why the width of the pathway is so narrow? UK's Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) recommends a minimum of 1200mm for footways. At the moment the path is less than 1m width. It seems the the hedge along the boundary of the Linden Close properties has been allowed to overgrow significantly impacting the public footpath.
