Estate agency boards fixed to street signs on public land constitute an unauthorised use of highway infrastructure and may damage the sign. The advertising boards must be located on the private land of the property it promotes. With reference to the Highways Act 1980 (Section 132) and Town & Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 2007 can I kindly request the council to contact Richard State requesting removal of all boards from public land within 7 days.
