Safety bollard damaged

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7896760.

Wooden bollard around the green has fallen due to somebody possibly driving into it.

The bollard is laying against a wall of The Old Manse 3, The Green, Byfield, NN11 6UT

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.

  • Both drain covers are blocked due to lack of street cleaning & maintenance. In heavy rainfall water flows over & accumulates lower down the road presenting a flood risk if residents do not take preventative measures. Other areas in the village including lower Church Street are similarly affected.
