Sat nav error

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Trevor Slade at 19:25, Wed 16 March 2016

Sent to Calderdale Borough Council 5 minutes later

Vans and cars are continually trying to reach Pike End road from Godly Lane via the privately owned and maintained track that leads to Arkin Royd Farm (only). Can this be corrected on sat Navs and can a sign be put up on Godly lane to that effect as well please?

  • I believe that Calderdale Council don't respond to reports on here. I did raise it with them last year. They want people to use their website to make reports which takes forever and requires lots of details irrelevant to the complaint.

For highways matter, email here: Also find out who your councillors are and give them some earache. We might get the use of this site reinstated. council/ councillors/ index.html

  • The council have responded and are considering the request. If it meets certain criteria then they may put up a sign, depending on budgets, of course!
