Loose tarmac and road sinking again

Reported via mobile in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 20:49, Wed 16 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7889214.

The resurfacing was well below standard and shoddy, leaving loose tarmac being walked into houses and sticking in tyres. Tarmac was never flattened correctly, chippings marking cars and holes in tarmac gradually breaking away. Sink holes starting to appear again.

  • This has been a month, is there any further update on the tarmac which continues to be stuck to cars, feet and carpets. This is just not of an acceptable standard
