This hedge is still obstructing the pavement. It is not possible to pass with a pram and a walking child without either the child or pram having to be in the road. It is dangerous.

Taken today (18/11/2025) and compared to the photo from the 17/07/2025 there seems to have been very little change to the hedge. The land owner has not properly cut back the hedge which is still blocking the footpath. They may have trimmed the bottom slightly but the hedge now slopes out over the path. You can see from the line of the brick wall where the back of the footpath is and there lies the problem. The hedge has been left to grow out past the middle of the footpath. Please address this issue so that it is safe to walk on the pavement again without having to step into the road. Will the Council or the home owner be taking responsibilty for any injury suffered by pedestrians hit by vehicles while trying to negotiate this stretch of footpath?

As the owner of this hedge has obviously failed to cut the hedge back what are you going to do to to ensure that this does happen? You were notified on the 17th and 18th November 2025 that the hedge is still blocking the footpath but I am not seeing any response that indicates you have made any attempt to do anything about this issue. Nothing at all that even suggests your inspector has visited the site and spoken to the hedge owner to find out why they are unable to cut back the hedge properly and open up the footpath so villagers can walk safely along this section of footpath.
