Blind spot cause by overgrowing hedge

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 12:07, Tue 15 July 2025

Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7879958.

When leaving Stabb Drive. It is impossible to see when is oncoming from the right due to a protruding hedge. This means you have to pull out half way across the road in order to see what is coming. this has caused many near misses and lots of abuse from oncoming drivers. the hedge needs cutting back flush with the property wall.

Updates

  • I have asked the police to intervene and they suggested pressing the council. but they are hopeless. They are waiting until there is an accident before they take action.
