Park Lane, Poynton, between the junctions of park lane and bulkley road and park lane and school lane

I would like to request traffic calming measures such as speed bumps or a suitable alternative, to make the section of road referenced above safer. Due to the location of this section of road - after the shared space measures have ended within the village, and beyond a very long line of parked cars coming from the other direction, this section of road is unique in the area in that it is an acceleration zone in both directions. In addition to this, the majority of pavements between bulkeley Road and school lane are incredibly narrow. In my opinion it is only a matter of time before there is a serious incident involving a car and a pedestrian(most likely a child)on this stretch of road. Only yesterday I had to grab my child to stop her running out into the road in front of a speeding car coming down park lane towards the village.
