Trees Overhanging Road. Damage to high vehicles

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7875194.

This report has been reopened as branches hang down to 13@ and double decker school bus is 14' tall. Front window and side windows have been smashed. Children were covered in glass. Significant damage done to vehicle and loss of income as well as could not be used until fixed. The other tree area reported under 7762090 in the same situation but further along the road. Closed as duplicate but it is not. This is a school bus route and cannot be changed. double deckers are forced to use this road and are getting damaged regularly.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 14 days.
