Fly-tipping on the footpath off Oaklands Lane
Reported via desktop in the Flytip category anonymously at 12:38, Mon 14 July 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7873728.
Large fly-tipped items such as a washing machine, mattress, fridge/freezer and other large items are in the middle and on the side of the footpath. This is both dangerous and an eye-sore. There are sharp edges on these items and it is highly likely someone, most likely a child, will hurt themselves. This is a well known and used footpath, and this will definitely put people off visiting to the local area, as it looks neglected, and if it continues, could lead to a decrease in property values. Not only this but the risk of toxic materials damaging surrounding ecosystems is highly likely as well. This should be dealt with as a matter of urgency.
