Between abthorpe crossroads and Handley barn.2 potholes which are dangerous to cyclists and motorcyclists and will damage cars

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.

  • Huge potholes! Damaged tyre and alloy. These are danger to cyclists and motorists especially since so much traffic using this stretch of road as a rat-run to avoid A43 works at Towcester, these have got even larger and deeper over the last couple of weeks P. May

We have an expected completion date of 18.08.25. We have raised another works ticket to repair the further works required, we have an expected completion date to be on or before 14.01.26.
