Recently the A50 was "resurfaced" between the M6 Poplar junction and High Legh. There is a junction where Swineyard Lane joins on the south side, and Mag Lane joins on the north side. Before the road was resurfaced the "centre lane" at the junction was clearly marked by hatchings and arrows for turning. After the resurfacing, there are no hatchings or arrows and the road is now essentially a 3 lane race track at the junction
I have attached a map and photo for clarity. The map shows my route as I tried to cross the road from Swineyard Lane to Mag Lane on my bike. I feel very exposed to the traffic when I'm in the middle lane, and I would not be surprised if there is a nasty accident there soon
Please advise when the hatchings and arrows will be reinstated
