  • We have investigated this report and found the vehicle to be taxed; a taxed vehicle is a strong indicator of an interested party and therefore the vehicle is not considered to be abandoned at this time and no further action will be taken. You can check the tax status of a vehicle online via: https://www.gov.uk/ check-vehicle-tax. Insurance or MOT issues should be directed to the Police as Bromley do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence.

State changed to: No further action

  • This van is parked on a main road which is causing traffic problems at busy times and hasn't been moved for over two weeks. It is most likely a van that has been registered as stolen and although you have discharged the case (because it is taxed), someone is probably having to put up with the inconvenience of not having their vehicle.
