Crossing is unsafe

Every day I see people jumping the lights at this pedestrian crossing. Have seen a lot of very near misses. Can something be done to make it more obvious there is a crossing there? Maybe a speed bump where the crossing is so people have to slow down. And cameras to catch people that do jump the lights?
