An OVER GROWN HEDGE

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 21:29, Thu 10 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7859666.

Your categories are ridiculous and don't fit my concern.Cherwell have already passed the issue to OCC. The hedge at no 18 The Moors projects over the pathway by some considerable way. The busy footpath is used by many people including children and people with limited mobility from Moorside Place and Homewell House. The path narrows and people collide with people coming around the corner. The over hang means navigation out of St. Mary's Close is perilous because you can not see the road on the right and have to pull out because of the hedge. It is not fair a public footpath should be reduced in size because the owners do not keep the hedge within their boundaries. This is on going for some years and written requests to the owners have been ignored.
