Outside of 1 Ashleigh

Reported via mobile in the Footway category anonymously at 11:35, Thu 10 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7842586.

The pavement in front of our property at 1 Ashleigh has eroded to a depth of 4cm, creating a sharp-edge on the inside of the pavement. Exiting our property onto the road is akin to driving over a damage-causing pothole. Loose debris along the footway adds to the danger, especially for our one year old, other young children who visit the houses in our row and our elderly neighbours who walk the pavement daily. My husband nearly skidded onto the road on his motorbike due to the loose material - the condition of the footway has become a risk to life. Despite previous reports of the condition of footways along the A50 in Smallwood by myself and others, no action has been taken but the current condition is a significant safety risk for both pedestrians and vehicles and needs urgent repair.
