Overhanging trees

Reported via mobile in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 20:39, Wed 9 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7835683.

Holm Oak tree on council land is overhanging my property, this tree has a large rotten hole down the trunk, and the branches are very close to the roof. It also overhangs a public footpath that connects Church Lane to Southlands Drive. There is also another tree overhanging the roof towards the rear of the building. Can you please cut back both of these trees so that they do not overhang my property.

Updates

  • This problem was reported 09/07/25, what if anything has been done about it. I have not seen any work carried out too these trees, when I have reported this problem previously it was not actioned until the tree damaged the roof of my garage, and I lodged an insurance claim against B.A.N.E.S. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE TREES TO DAMAGE MY PROPERTY AGAIN. It will cost less to fix the problem now!
