How much longer is this obstruction to go without being remedied ?
Reported via desktop in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category by PHILIP SAUNDERSON at 19:21, Wed 9 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7835418.
No action has taken place for at least seven months and the total time wasted by delayed traffic and the fumes from the vehicles must be horrendous. Why is nothing being done ?

Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. we are awaiting vegetation clearance which is planned for Mid September due to bird nesting season to understand the full extent of the damage. We have requested the traffic management provider to move the signal head back so the signal is not on the bend.

Vegetation is forcing pedestrians off this narrow path on the Pitsford road into the path of traffic that is already negotiating a narrow section through the road works

Surely the nesting season is over now and you really must sort this mess out without further delay. Philip Saunderson

It is now October and this obstruction to the road has been in place since early in the year. When is some action going to be taken to do the remedial work that is needed. The cost in terms of vehicles waiting with engines running and time lost must run into thousands. If you are not going to do anything what is the excuse now ?

I wrote on 8th October but have received no response. The obstruction continues. WHEN IS THERE GOING TO BE SOME POSITIVE ACTION? NEARLY TWELVE MONTHS AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. IS THERE ANYBODY THERE WHO CARES?
