The tree has fallen across the weir, and could obstruct the flow of the river Frome leading to flooding when river levels are. The weir is about 25 metres upstream from the EA Frenchay Flow station adjoining The Old Mill House garden on Pearce's Hill, BS16 1LN. The tree fell about one month ago (~ 10/6/2025).
