On the A51 northbound side adjacent Ley Ground Farm

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:04, Wed 9 July 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7834104.

There is a depression in the carriageway on the north bound lane against the verge. The speed limit here is national speed limit (should be reduced really) and when large tractor or HGV hits it (which happens regularly) the impact causes the whole house to vibrate/shake and as the structure of the house is many centuries old we are concerned damage is being caused. There are some cracks although could not say they were caused by this for sure. It has been like this for some time but getting worse and the vibration can wake us in the night.
